Beginning Bird Language
Location: Bidwell Park
Outdoor event. Families are invited to gather in Bidwell Park to meet one another and be with the language of the birds. Bird language (different from birdwatching), is the study of what the sounds and patterns of birds (and other animals) can tell us about the place where we live. We will give an intro to bird language, practice listening in on the birds, play some games, share stories, etc. This is a great way to get a feel for Watershed Schoolhouse and to engage with the changes of spring. More details will be sent to registered participants. All ages welcome. No experience necessary!
Seeing the Circle
Location: Bidwell Park
Friday, Apr. 12, 3-5pm
Outdoor event. Anyone who has attended a Watershed Schoolhouse event is welcome to come to this event to meet other interested families and community members. We will play a few games and have time to meet one another. There will be a chance to ask questions as well. All ages welcome.
